When the product is not selling very good it is up to the department of marketing to do something with it. There are various methods used in order to attract customers to a specific product. They are used everyday and we are not even aware of this fact. That is the point of advertising anyway. So, what can the advertising department do to increase sales of a given product? They can change its label to a new one as it always is interesting for buyers to see something new on the shelf. They might reconsider buying this product. They can also diversify the product by, for example, introducing new features. In case of food it might be a different flavor. That is the reason you can find ice creams or chocolates in different flavors. My friend told me that she has seen supplements in various flavors. That means that they must have been selling poorly and the producer wants to make them more popular or such flavors where requested by their customers a lot of times. In such cases company usually decides to create another line of product. As far as those supplements are concerned you can buy them in such flavors as: strawberry, blueberry and banana. Sounds great to me.
